These Terms and Conditions are set out on the basis to which Village Accommodation Group will provide accommodation and other products and services to guests. By making a booking with us, the guest agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Village Accommodation Group includes Aspect Apartments, Astelia Apartment Hotel, Boulcott Suites, Courtenay Village Apartments, Ohtel Auckland, Ohtel Wellington, Willis Village Urban Garden Apartments.
Check In and Out Times
All properties (with the exception of Boulcott Suites)
Check In: From 2pm, Check Out: Before 10am
Check In: From 3pm, Check Out: Before 11am

- Astelia: 8am – 10.30am and 1pm – 7pm daily
- Boulcott Suites: 7am – 9pm weekdays and 8am – 9pm weekends /public holidays
- Ohtel: 8am – 6pm daily
Aspect Apartments, Courtenay Village and Willis Village do not have reception or staff onsite.
Arrival and Payment
Properties with Receptions
For security purposes a valid credit card and ID will be required at the time of check in. If a credit card is unavailable, then a $500 cash deposit will be required as a bond.
Please note that all accommodation charges must be settled upon arrival (unless they have already been prepaid). If you are arriving after reception has closed, your nominated credit card will be charged for the total accommodation cost, unless charge back has been authorised for your booking.
Properties without Reception
Payment will be taken at the time of booking, unless charge back arrangements are approved and in place.
We accept AMEX, Visa, Mastercard. All credit card transactions incur a 2% credit card surcharge fee.
Please note that some bookings may be subject to a security bond of $500.00. This will be refunded after departure and once housekeeping has checked the room, to ensure there are no damages or issues.
All bookings will be provided lock box details in case of a late arrival or for properties without reception facilities.
For bookings made via third party websites or travel agents, please contact the website/agent directly to change or cancel a booking.
All pricing includes GST of 15%.
All reservations received must be made by persons over the age of 18 years. Any person under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Failure to comply may result in termination of the accommodation reserved.
Safety and Security Policy
Guest safety and security is our priority. Should you have any concerns during your stay, please contact the Customer Service Team.
All visitors are required to vacate the property by 10pm. After this time the only guests allowed to stay are the number as indicated in the booking. Failure to adhere to this may result in full termination of the accommodation.
Subject to the Innkeepers Act 1962, all guests are advised to safely secure their valuables within the property’s safe, located at the properties with receptions. Please be aware that the property is not liable for any loss or damage to vehicles parked within the facility or nearby car parking building.
Please note that all Village properties have a strictly no parties policy and requires all guests to observe quiet time from 10pm each night. We work with an onsite security team that will regularly monitor and manage any noise complaints. Call outs may incur a fine/and or eviction from the premises. All security callout costs are on-charged to the party responsible, at $100.00 per call out.
Smoking and vaping is not permitted at any time inside any rooms or apartments and only in the designated smoking areas.
No animals are allowed in any property with the exception of guide dogs, and small well behaved dogs within our Studio room at Ohtel Wellington.
Village Accommodation Group may from time to time send you marketing communications regarding our services and promotions. Should you wish to not receive any of these communications, you may opt out at the time of check in or you can unsubscribe at any time to these communications electronically.
