Ohtel Pantry is open during reception hours, offering hot & cold drinks, breakfast, freshly baked cabinet food during the day, as well as delicious bar snacks, sweet treats, hand picked local wine and craft beer in the evenings.
Our Pantry AM Menu is served from 7:30am – 11am, PM Menu from 11am – 3pm, Bites, Afters and freshly made counter selections from 7:30am – 8pm daily.

Origins
Mr Duppa features on our wall at The Pantry at Ohtel to pay tribute to the founding of the area. Before Oriental Bay existed, the suburb was called Duppa after the sole resident of the bay and the first person to build a home there, George Duppa. He was an Englishman who came to NZ to make his fortune and in fact became the first “millionaire” in NZ. There are no photos on record of him, only a sketch. We love the history of the name and have developed a version of Mr Duppa into our story to keep the history alive.
